No matter where I roam, I always come back to the strange corners of history: folklore, mythological creatures, and urban legends. My approach is more whimsical than scholarly, and the tone of my writing tends toward the darkly humorous. I believe you should be able to laugh while having the pants scared off you. It confuses your opponents, and they will think twice before approaching someone so obviously unhinged.

I’m available for freelance projects including blog articles, podcast scripts, and creative research pieces. I’m especially interested in work involving mythology, cultural history, horror, and the uncanny. Rates vary depending on scope, article length, and turnaround time. As a general guideline, projects start at $0.10–$0.20 per word, with flat rates available for ongoing or larger assignments.
